Lilly, a pit heroína

Lilly, uma pit bull de 8 anos, foi resgatada de um abrigo, por David Lanteigne, 3 anos atrás, para fazer companhia a sua mãe, que sofre de alcoolismo.
No último dia 8 ela foi atingida por um trem ao salvar sua dona, que havia desmaiado nos trilho. Ela perdeu uma pata, teve fratura na pelvis e outra pata seriamente ferida.

Ela já está em casa, ainda com muito caminho pela frente até se recuperar totalmente e voltar a andar sem ajuda.
Recebeu ajuda de muitas pessoas, que enviaram donativos para pagar a conta das cirurgias e tratamento que recebeu e, conforme informação que vi no facebook, terá doação de alimentação por 1 ano.




Não tem como não perceber que ela é amada e ama a família, se as imagens com o David não convencerem é só olhar as paredes do cantinho onde ela se recuperava.

‎"Thought I'd share a quick story. I went to the ARLeague of Boston to seek info on being a volunteer. While there I first noticed her beautiful deep eyes & immediately fell in love with her. That day I took her for a walk and prior to bringing her back into the shelter i opened the trunk to my car to get her a treat. W/out warning she leaped into my trunk, went to the back and layed down, almost begging to be taken home. It was that day, just over 3 years ago on Easter Sunday we adopted Lilly."
